Specific activity
▪ Coordinate the business logic of a BI development with the impact of technical decisions,
▪ Apply OS knowledge in Microsoft Windows Server and Linux,
▪ Write, debug and optimize SQL queries,
▪ Develop and alter stored procedures, functions, triggers, views,
▪ Develop solutions with Power BI, using Power Query syntax knowledge for type conversions, column creation, creating custom data manipulation steps, etc., and understand query plans for evaluations and query folding breaks,
▪ Use DAX to evaluate contexts, create relationships, tune multiple performances and enhance different features, use data analysis expressions,
▪ Understand Power BI visual interactions and bookmarks and their impact on the filtering context, and extend functionalities through R (ggplot) and Python (matplotlib or seaborn),
▪ Use PBIVIZ library from Node.js and TypeScript for Power BI visual development,
▪ Use Power BI and Rest API for content governance,
▪ Apply data modeling knowledge (Kimball) in database normalization, relationships usage, types of connections to data sources,
▪ Enhance the database architecture and design new Data Warehouses and/or Data Marts,
▪ Manage and administer workspaces and apps, as well as on-premise data gateways and clusters, and assure row-level security,
▪ Develop and maintain low-latency, high performing ETL processes with SSIS or Azure Data Factory,
▪ Develop and maintain SSAS tabular models and SSRS reports,
▪ Develop scripts with PowerShell,
▪ Show empathy, assertiveness and diplomacy in your communication to multiple stakeholders.
